The International Fund for Houbara Conservation (IFHC) Celebrates the Flag Day

Abu Dhabi, 3 November 2016:

The International Fund for Houbara Conservation (IFHC) celebrated the Flag Day on November 3rd, by raising the UAE flag over IFHC’s main building in Abu Dhabi. Flag Day signifies our nation’s solidarity and unified loyaltyto our Ruler, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Flag Day also coincides with the anniversary of our esteemed Ruler’s inauguration. November 3rd commemorates the day he came to power and prominence.

“Flag Day represents a great appreciation, honor and unity among all people living in the UAE, Emiratis and expatriates alike. It is a proud day for all of us, one we celebratein harmony and with immense dignity”, said Mohammed Al Baidani, Director General of IFHC.

Al Baidani also added, “here at the International Fund for Houbara Conservation (IFHC), we celebrate this occasion every year by raising the flag over our headquarters. As a reminder for our commitment to continuing in the success that was started with the IFHC’s launch back in 2006 which has since made many accomplishments and passed many milestones in its goal to lead in Houbara bustards’ conservation and protection, to ensure the bird’s sustainability”.
